The HiMax temperature of 34.4C on 1/7/15 ranks 5^th highest for any day in 60 years, and 3^rd highest HiMax value for any year beaten by 1990 and 2006. LoMin temperature –3.7C on 19/1/15 is the 2^nd highest for any year, beaten by –3.6C in 2014, .making two consecutive years lacking very low temperatures.

Overall rainfall ranks 25^th in 60 years, so is statistically fairly normal. 
However the distribution of rainfall throughout the year was variable, the 22^nd wettest Jan, 8^th driest Apr, 14^th wettest May, 19^th wettest Aug, 16^th driest Oct, 14^th wettest Nov, and 8^th wettest Dec, in 60 years of records here. 

28 air frosts was the 3^rd fewest in 60 years, 11 occurring in Jan, 10 in Feb, 4 in Mar, 1 in Apr, 3 in Nov.

    an increase in mean temp of 1.92degrees from 8.67C to 10.59C.

    the number of air frosts has tended to drop, especially in the last decade,

Statistically a fairly normal January, temperatures normal and rainfall slightly higher than normal at 78mm. However while it was milder 4^th, 8^th-13^th, it became much colder 16^th-22^nd and 29^th-31^st .  Notably the high maximum temperature 14.2C on the 9^th equals the highest recorded here in 2003. 
Snow fell on 6 days, 13^th, 18^th, 20^th and 28^th,29^th, 30^th, although never settled seriously, the greatest depth recorded at obs hour being 1.5cm on 14^th.
There were several windy spells, 7^th-16^th and 28^th-31^st, very gusty at times.
While many days saw some bright sunshine at some time, it remained very dull all day on 3^rd, 7^th, 12^th and 21^st. No fogs were recorded.

The first half of the month was 1.0deg below normal, but ithe warmer second half made it statistically 0.4deg above normal overall. The hottest day was 30^th, when a temp of 31.0C was recorded, building upon the 25.4C on 29^th the third highest in 60 years records here (beaten only by 1976 and 2005).The mean max temp was 20.8C, the 11^th highest on record.The lowest minimum temp was 4.0C on 10^th, so no ground or air frosts.

 Rainfall was 72.7mm (119% of normal), with 50.5mm of this falling on 12^th –13^th. The aggregated rainfall Jan-Jun is 348mm, around normal.

Mean temperature was 0.5 degrees below normal, with temperatures generally falling during the month. The 1^st enjoyed the second hottest July day on record here, although  the 31^st  had the ninth lowest coolest night . The month remained fog and frost free.
Rainfall was very slightly above normal, and was well spread across the month, with 20 raindays, the fifth greatest.
Thunder occurred late on 3^rd, and into the early hours of 4^th, and was most intense 0100-0115 with heavy rainfall. Again on 5^th from 1630-1700 with 5mm hailstones.

A milder and drier month than usual.

Temperatures fell to 2.6C on 12^th and 2.7C on 25^th giving ground frosts on 2 days only, 11^th fewest in 60 years of records here, although never low enough this month for any air frost.

Rainfall was 45mm, 55% of normal, the 10^th lowest on record here. This resulted in just 11 raindays (10^th fewest), 5 wetdays (6^th fewest) and 4 very wetdays,  All the rain fell around the 6^th and between 20^th  - 29^th, with no rain recorded between 8^th -19^th.

Cumulative rainfall for 10 months Jan-Oct of 592mm is on the low side, about one third the way up the rank order for the last 60 years.

Plenty of days with some good sunshine, notably 1^st-2^nd, 4^th,  8^th-15^th, 17^th, 20^th, 22^nd, 25^th-26^th. Dullest days were 18^th-19^th, 29^th although 3^rd, 7^th, 10^th, 16^th,  23^rd  were gloomy too.

A  mild month, mean temperature 2.2deg above normal, with a brief return to normal 20^th-24^th, making this the 3^rd mildest November in 60 years here. HiMax 17.0C on 1^st was 2^nd highest on record, exceeded only in 2007.
Only 3 air frosts and 5 ground frosts were recorded. Many days had cloud cover, the sunniest days being 1^st, 12-13^th, 20-21^st.

Rainfall was 118% of normal, and was distributed across 27 raindays, 22 wet days, which was a record, so just 3 days seeing no rain at all.  A brief light dusting of snow was seen late on 20^th, but soon melted overnight.

Greatest wind run was recorded on 15^th, 29^th, 18^th, 12^th, 17^th.

A mild autumn, the 7^th highest mean temperature in 60 years here.
Mean max was 1.0deg above normal. and mean min 0.7deg above normal.

Rainfall was lower than normal, considerably less than in the three preceeding years, totalling 210mm, 84% of normal for the season.

Record breaking mild temperatures, the mean temperature here was 9.2C being +4.9deg above the statistical 30 year value of 4.3C . Only on 5 brief occasions during the month was the outside temperature at any time of day lower than that 4.3C value.

The MeanMax, Mean and MeanMin all set a new December record, and are +1.2degC higher than the previous record set in 1974.

LoMax and LowMin also set a new record, +2.8degC above the previous 2013 record.  So this is the first December in 60 years here with no air frost, the previous fewest was just 1 air frost in 2013.  There was a slight ground frost on just one night, 25^th, when the air temperature dropped to 2.8C, the minimum temp for the month. 

Rainfall was 60% above normal for the month, the 8^th highest amount for December and not a record total, but it did span a new record 21 wet days and new 2^nd highest record 26 raindays.

It was very windy as storm “Frank” passed between Scotland and Iceland between noon on 29^th and noon on 30^th, when pressure fell from 1016mb to 1002mb here. Winds increased steadily during this pressure fall and gusts climbed to (estimated) 40mph - 50mph during this 24 hour period.

As a narrow rainband crossed this location around 1500 on 31^st, pressure dipped sharply, and an estimated gust of 57mph was recorded.

It was a mostly dull month and only a few days saw solar radiation rise above 200W/m2  on 4^th, 9^th, 23^rd, 29^th and 31^st.
